About our pool work
The stonework that surrounds the water.
We don’t install pools — we build everything around them. And around a pool, almost every surface you stand on is stonework: the patio, the coping at the water’s edge, the walls that hold the grade back, the steps down from the house. That is our end of the job, and it’s the part you live on once the water goes in.
Pool-adjacent work is unforgiving. The base has to drain or the deck moves. The joints take constant wet-dry cycling and the freeze that follows it. The surface has to stay safe underfoot when it’s soaked. We spec the material and the base for exactly that, grade the surround so water leaves the deck instead of sitting on it, and put a 3D drawing in your hands before anything gets ordered.

Coping & Edge Detail
The course that meets the water: set level, jointed tight, and finished with an edge that’s comfortable to sit on and clean to walk.
Retaining Walls & Grade Work
Walls and terraces that hold the grade back from the deck, so runoff goes where it was planned to go instead of across the patio.
Steps & Entries
Stone and paver steps connecting the house, the yard, and the pool level — even risers, pitched treads, nothing that surprises you underfoot.
Fire Features & Outdoor Living
Fire pits, seat walls, and outdoor living space set back from the water, built with materials that handle heat and take a winter.
Fencing & Gates

We put together a detailed estimate. For hardscaping and larger builds, we produce 3D drawings so you can see exactly what you’re approving before a shovel goes in the ground.

We do the work, clean up the site, and walk through the finished project with you before we leave. We’re not done until you’re satisfied.
